The Common Knowledge (COMMONLEDGE) Association is a non-profit, educational, cultural, scientific, technical, humanistic and professional oriented organization. In Spanish it is denominated Conocimiento Comunal and its acronym is CONOMUN.
Our aim is to encourage people to pool together their knowledge, sharing knowledge in common, defending knowledge as a communal, defending its universal dissemination, defending its collaborative construction and management, making any single protagonism to water down in a true community. A diverse community, where all alternatives to copyright are welcome, whenever they contribute knowledge to be shared in common, to be spread and to be constructed and managed in collaboration.
The Common Knowledge (COMMONLEDGE) Association was established under a Foundation Charter dated 7th December 2007 which takes into account the thoughts and convictions of what we call common knowledge.
